Three New Etudes for the Diesel Lounge Boys (2006)

for mandolin, banjo, guitar, and double bass

A group of friends formed a bluegrass-inspired ensemble (called the Diesel Lounge Boys) and commissioned a number of composers to create brief works for their ensemble.

This work is my contribution.  The title is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Chopin's Trois nouvelles études.
